Important Update – Idle No More – United We Stand

In just over 10 days we will be gathering on Parliament Hill in Ottawa to show a strong, united front of Idle No More. The peaceful protest is scheduled to start at approximately 12:00 noon with everyone asked to meet at Parliament Hill with their flags, signs, drums ...and most important their voice!

We need to have a large, vocal Metis presence so to help organize this we've checked into chartering a bus that would leave from Oshawa by 7:00 am on the 28th, returning by approx. 9:00 pm that evening. Depending on the numbers the cost will be quite reasonable at approximately $55 to $75 return per person.

We need to know as soon as possible how many people are planning to attend and can commit to joining us on the bus. Talk to your family members, friends, colleagues - get as many people as you can interested in joining! And if you can't attend yourself, strongly consider supporting someone else by paying their way! The deadline to book the bus is coming up quickly so please let us know by no later than Sunday, January 20th if you will be joining us on the bus. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call or email me.

As I've said before, this is the opportunity for all of us to stand together - Metis, First Nations, Inuit and all concerned Canadians - and send a message to our government that enough is enough, our voices will not be silenced, and we will be Idle No More!
